Golden Easter Eggs

I tried a thing this year! I’ve seen around the interwebs that you can use temporary tattoos on Easter eggs. “Genius!” I said. It’s a marvelous thing for those of us who really want some easy way to make some impressive looking Easter eggs.

I found these beautiful gold temporary tattoos over at the Rifle Paper Co. I also ordered some of the pretty colorful ones too. Just know that the gold ones I’m showing were the right size and fairly easy to apply to the eggs.

The other colorful ones… I had trouble getting them to stick to the egg, but no trouble getting them to stick to my husbands arm. He wanted to check that they weren’t defective, and they weren’t as far as applying them as intended. Wishing I had taken a picture! Sure do ♥ him.

Mini Vacation in Florida

Back at the beginning of February I was able to take a little mini vacation with some fabulous ladies! We were all in Florida for Stampin’ Up!’s annual Leadership conference. We were all there as employees helping to put on the show. It was so much fun to get to connect with so many of Stampin’ Up!’s demonstrators. We ate at some delicious restaurants during the week. First at The Pub. It was hard to choose just one thing on the menu, everything looked so good!

The Pub Menu

Finally decided on the pasta and I have no regrets, delicious!

Food at The Pub

On another night we went to have some Cuban food. Having never partaken of any Cuban food I had no idea what to expect. If you ever visit a city that has Cuban food, definitely go and have some. The atmosphere is amazing and the food was divine!

Cuban Restaurant

We started with some plantain chips with guacamole with pineapple in it. YUM!

I don’t remember what my main course was called, but by glancing around the table EVERYTHING looked so good. I don’t think there was a wrong choice. Here’s what I had…

Working for Stampin’ Up! is awesome. They let the employees go to Managers reception which was held at Disney World. We like to spoil our demonstrators! Everything from a private show to reserved rides just for the party and more amazing food than you could possibly eat in a night!

Tower of Terror

Disney food

After Leadership was over, Jen, Melody, and I decided to extend our stay for a couple of days and spend a day in Universal Studios and a day in Disney World. We had a blast! More to come about that…
