Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!

I had so much fun last week making eggs I made a few more over the past week I wanted to share. All eggs shown on my blog are for decor purposes only, so it’s best to blow out your eggs first since you won’t want to be eating them.

The first are marbled eggs. These were fairly simple. You just need a disposable container, larger than the egg, with enough water in it to submerge the egg. Then you just drop some nail polish in, swirl it around with a skewer, dip your egg, and let it dry.

The second one I tried were some glittered eggs. Glue and glitter, that’s all there is to it.

The third are some chalked eggs. I spray painted these with chalk board spray paint, let them dry, and chalked (with a sharpened piece of chalk).

Fourth, I made some confetti eggs! These might be my very most favorite. All you need is tissue paper, a hole punch, Mod Podge, and a sponge brush.

Punch out some confetti out of your tissue paper with your hole punch, paint your egg with a thin layer of Mod Podge, sprinkle on the confetti, paint another thin layer on top, and let dry.

And last, I dip died this egg and painted on a floral pattern using gold acrylic paint and a small paint brush. It’s the first time I’ve tried to do something like this and think it turned out pretty nice! Time consuming, hence the single egg, but very pretty!

I’d love to see the eggs you’ve made too. Feel free to leave a link to share your brilliance!
